A mission Trip of a Lifetime (January 2027, dates flexible ) is awaiting anyone who wants to join with our team to the Encouragement Children's Homes in Western Kenya & Uganda. There is something for everyone to do regardless of age or education. An optional two-night stay and one day Safari at the World-Famous Masai Mara Game Preserve may be arranged.

Orphans
We presently have 54 orphans in Kenya and 25 in Uganda who we are caring for through Encouragement Children's Homes. Evenings spent with Vacation Bible School like activities and other educational and fun programs are always a blessing to these children. Our monthly Community Children's Outreach attract over 500 children who receive a meal, Bible stories and they enjoy playing on our playground, which is the only playground in the entire area.
Some evenings we show DVDs and serve popcorn and drinks for all the children. New toys, school supplies and clothing are distributed to the orphans as well. You are welcome to bring gifts for the orphans.

Assist in the Children's Home / Visit Public Schools / Help the Orphans with Arts & Crafts/Share love w/Orphans
From Monday thru Saturdays there are opportunities for volunteers to assist in a variety of ways. Regardless of your age, education or experience you can interact with the orphans and be a blessing to so many.
We welcome those who can teach and train the orphan staff in all areas of child care and health & safety issues. A program can be tailor-made to fit into the scheduled teaching events. Leadership Classes are presented on video to a host of leaders. The volunteers can attend and participate in the discussions with attending church & community leaders.
For those who would enjoy speaking in the Kenya public schools, we arrange for them to share a couple of afternoons in several schools in the nearby area. Giving pencils to the students is a real blessing to all.
